Known Bugs

• No "loading..." overlay to indicate the the Marilyn markers are being updated
• Deal more gracefully with the problem of too many markers when you're zoomed out
• I used an older version of the Relative Hills of Britain, so there are actually only 1542 Marilyns here rather than 1554 - I need to update this at some point.
• Lots more functionality would be good; e.g. links to pictures, allow you to mark the ones you've climbed, etc.

The Marilyns are a set of hills in Britain which are defined by their relative height: they must have 500 feet of descent on all sides (like the Corbetts) but there is no minimum height. They were defined by Alan Dawson in his excellent book The Relative Hills of Britain which is available online at that link as well as from Amazon and so on. There are 1500 Marilyns, and the attempts of people to climb them all are documented in This page is a quick hack to help people find Marilyns near them.
